Your data
How we keep your info safe
Plain English, no fine print: what we keep, who can see it, and what crew share when they join a trip.
Joining a trip as crew
Your producer sent you a link or a 6-digit code. Here's everything that happens.
We only ask your name.
No account, no password, no email or phone number, no app to install. Your name just lets your producer see who joined.
You see this trip's gear, nothing else.
Which case each item is in and who's carrying it. You can't see other trips, other teams, or anyone's contact details.
It ends on its own.
Access stops the day after the trip ends (or 30 days after the code was made, if the trip has no end date). You can leave any time, and your producer can remove you.
Codes can't be guessed.
After a few wrong tries, more guesses are blocked for a while. Your producer can switch the code off or make a new one whenever they like.
Your gear, cases and trips
Only your team can see it.
Every part of our database checks that you're on the team before showing anything. People outside your team can't read, change or delete your data.
Stored securely.
Your data is kept on Supabase, a widely used database service. It's encrypted on their servers and on its way to your device.
Photos and logos stay private.
They're never on a public web address. When you open one, you get a private link that expires within minutes.
Crew see only what you share.
Gear and cases, and the names and roles of people on the trip. Never your gear values, serial numbers, or anyone's contact details.
Payments
ID card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes straight to Stripe and never reaches our servers.
Stays on your device
When you use an Ask box, your question goes to our AI provider to get an answer. We don't keep what you asked; the conversation is saved only in your browser. If you try the toolkit without an account, your work stays in your browser for 7 days.
Checked, not just promised
We review who can see what across the whole site: every database table, crew codes and links, case labels, payments and public pages. Last full review: October 23, 2026.
